Matt Richards
Luke 17:14-16 And as they went, they were cleansed. One of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned with a loud voice glorifying God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.
The one you healed has come to worship You.
You know there were ten lepers healed. But only one came back. Be the one.
Many times people in a crisis in a dark place cry out to God for a miracle. He touches them and does wonders in His Grace and Mercy.
But once out of the mess, once forgive and free they fail to come back and give thanks.
Maybe they thought they didn't need to. Maybe they just forgot. Maybe they didn't want to know Jesus fully, whatever the reason they did not return.
The old testament is full of people crying out to God being delivered, then forgetting the wonder of God and going back to the stuff that messed them up in the first place.
Be the one that is thankful today. Never forget what God has done.
The one on your face, the one with loud voice Glorifying God.
Never forget what you have been saved from, forgiven for, healed of, delivered out of.
Be the one.
Prayer:
Father thank You for all You have done in my life. Thank You for forgiving me, changing me, healing me, delivering me. I am so grateful I choose to remember the wonders of the Lord and come to You Jesus and give You Glory today in Jesus name amen.
