Do the right thing and Prove God. (What have you got to prove?)

Matt Richards

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

You know we need to do the right thing. Here it is to present our body, soul (that's mind and emotions) and our spirit to God. When we are surrendered. When we are transformed in our thinking, When our mind's are renewed, then we are able to prove God. It's one thing to know other people's stories of healing, deliverance and provision but there's a time you have to prove God for yourself. I remember as children when people would claim they could do something, we used to say.."well prove it then" What have you got to prove? Every Christian needs there own stories, there own personal victories that in spite of what's been thrown at them: they have proved God. In the experience of grief or betrayal you can prove God as a comforter and shield. In the experience of sickness and lack you can prove God as a healer and provider. In the experience of conflict and confusion you can prove God as a deliverer and of peace. I want to be brain washed. I want my thoughts to be washed by the blood of Jesus and be renewed by His Word that I might (for myself, and yes it's personal this time) prove God in my life. It's not enough that it worked for someone else I've got to see it work for and in me. I've got to do the right thing, I've just got to prove God. Prayer:

Father I choose to submit every part of me to You. Wash me clean, transform and renew my thoughts today. Thank You that I am going to prove what is the Your will in my life in Jesus Name Amen.
