Free From The Curse

Matt Richards

Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”— so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.

This verse saw me set free from migraines twenty years ago.

I used to get hideous migraines. When I say hideous I'm not talking headaches. I'm talking having to be in the dark, vomit, spinning room pounding, behind the eyes.

I knew it was demonic because it would always come on after doing something for God.

No matter what I tried, prayer for healing, pray for deliverance it continued.

Until. Until I got this verse. I made it personal. I wrote it on a card. I put my name in it. I took it like medicine twice a day.

I stopped asking for healing and would instead thank the Lord for what He had already done. So I would say thank You Jesus for setting Matt free from migraines because You became a curse, because it is written, cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree.

I would get excited about it. I would say thank You I don't have to be off work, I don't have to be sick, thank You the curse of migraines is broken. Sometimes I would have a little dance.

Kenneth Hagin said, the word works for you when you get excited about it. It kind of got in me.

Nothing physical had changed, but something spiritual had shifted.

I had it. I got it. It was mine.

You know since that point the migraines have tried to come back twice. Once for one minute the other for 30 seconds.

When it did I just said, "hold on, no. Christ has set me free from the curse of migraines" and it left.

What are you suffering from?

The curse is broken.

Put your name in this verse. Jesus took it on the cross.

Instead of asking for healing and deliverance. I dare you to write this verse down on a card and thank God in faith for what He has already done.

He took the curse.

That I might receive the blessing.

Prayer:

Father thank You that Jesus took the curse. That's amazing I'm excited about that. Thank You Jesus for the work of the cross in my life. Thank You for freedom today from every inherited thing in Jesus' name amen.
