God Can Do Beyond Your Wildest Dreams

Matt Richards

Ephesians 3:20-21 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Many years ago I read a book by Steve Covey and as a result I write down some dreams, objectives, goals. You know stuff I thought about for the future.

The other year I found the piece if paper I had written on. Here are some of those 'asks' and 'thinks' I write down.

  • One was to have four children (two boys, two girls)

  • One was to pastor a church for the homeless

  • One was to write some cool anointed worship songs

  • One of my heroes of the faith is Bill Wilson and one of my dreams was to be a bus driver like him

You know most of my dreams have come true. How amazing and totally crazy is that.

But I still have one dream left.

I have had it in me since I was a teenager.

No matter how much I try I can't shake it.

It's to be part of a Revival. A genuine move of God that shakes our nation.

Where the power of God breaks out and hardened dealers and addicts are transformed into vessels of honor.

Where the Glory of God breaks out, that unbelievers and believers fall on their faces in the streets as they encounter God.

Where the messed up and broken get so on fire for Jesus that it causes a cultural revolution.

Where an army of mis-fits live with purpose and destiny. Where a community of believers stay true, like a gang preferring one another and having each others back.

Where a hundred champions can be raised up to do the stuff in the book and be released to change the world.

What do you dream about?

God is ABLE to do EXCEEDINGLY ABOVE all you can ASK or THINK.

So think out loud. Dream again.

Write it down.

And see what God will do.

Prayer:

Father thank You for the power that's working in me. It still works. Cause me to think, to ask to dream big again today in Jesus' name amen.
