Job 22:21 If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored— so clean up your life. If you give up your lust for money and throw your precious gold into the river, the Almighty himself will be your treasure. He will be your precious silver!
The bad news is you're away from God. Gold, money, and bling has become more important than your walk with Jesus.
Other stuff has got in the way of your daily walk with your Saviour. You used to burn with passion and love, but now the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches have suffocated the life out of your simple faith and trust.
The good news today is that IF you return to God you will be restored. But it's you that's moved and it's you that needs to return.
Time to return, that is to repent; change your mind and then change your direction. Clean up your life. Get rid of every occult thing in your house. Give up the lust for money and stuff, and make God your number one priority.
Run towards Jesus. Come home.
If only you did this. He is waiting for you. If only you returned then you too would find Jesus more precious than silver.
I wonder what your life would be like "if only.."
Prayer:
Father forgive me for being distracted and becoming lukewarm. I choose to repent. I choose to clean up my life. I choose to give up my lust for stuff. Holy Spirit make Jesus more precious to me than silver and help me pay the price and walk with You today and in the coming weeks in Jesus' name amen.
