Renewal

(FB Devotional Memory 2019)

I remember when we got this word, Season of renewal. Was hard to preach as power of God started to break out in service.

Lamentations 5:21 Turn us to Yourself, O Lord, and we shall be turned and restored! Renew our days as of old!

Definition of Renew

transitive verb.

1 : to make like new : restore to freshness, vigor, or perfection as we renew our strength in sleep.

2 : to make new spiritually : regenerate. 3a : to restore to existence : revive.

You know the Holy Spirit talks to me in lots of ways, even my email. Please don't think I'm being disrespectful or casual because I'm not. On Friday I got an email with the above title.

'The season of renewal...don't miss out'

This phrase just stuck with me.

So I started to study 'renewal' in the bible.

I so believe that as we repent and renew the altar of prayer and praise, He will renew us as the days of old. Those times of refreshing will come.

Well, I went to preach my message based on 2 Chronicles 15 and the Holy Ghost broke out.

I didn't get past the title.

You see the season has changed. Despair, sorrow, and loss is so last season.

This season is victory, blessing, joy, and revival.

Feeling weary, worn out? Well maybe you need some renewal. Get rid of sin and then rebuild, renew the altar in your life of devotion, and He will renew you.

So love Jesus, so love the river of God.

It's time for renewal. Renewal of vision, renewal of passion, renewal of the Glory of God.

It's time for the season of renewal.

Prayer:

Father thank You so much for what You're doing. Thank You, thank You, thank You. It's been so long, been so hard: but thank You the season has changed. Thank You for renewal, thank You for Your Glory today in Jesus' Name Amen.
