Psalm 126:5=6 Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.
'Winners of souls are first weepers for souls. As there is no birth without travail, so is there no spiritual harvest without painful tillage.'
(Treasury of David commentary)
Sometimes we want the harvest without the intercession.
I believe there is an intercession in prayer that's coming. A travail, a weeping, a crying out for souls.
Evan Roberts of the Welsh Revival prayed, "Lord bend me."
That's my prayer that I might weep for souls. That my hardness and indifference to a dying world might be removed .
Prayer:
Father God I've got hard and indifferent forgive me. Bend me, soften me that I might cry in intercession for the lost. In Jesus' name, Amen.
